Hi Humans of the world! 👋

My name is Alex. I grew up in Benicia, a quaint waterfront town in the San Francisco Bay Area. During high school I started working as a dishwasher at a local pizza place. From there, I spent years in restaurants—either in the kitchen or waiting tables.

In 2017, I began making bar soap part-time for a local skincare company. For more than seven years, I worked as their Soap Maker, crafting artisanal bars for customers who loved them.

When the company decided to pack up and move out of state in 2025, I saw an opportunity to build something of my own. And that’s how Human Soap was born.

With a focus on quality, creativity, and clean ingredients, I launched my own line of handcrafted soaps and a few other skincare products. Every product is handmade by me, using carefully chosen ingredients that I trust on my own skin.

I never planned on doing this. I just kept showing up for my life and doing the next thing in front of me.

Human Soap is more than just a brand—it’s a personal expression of my passion for making products that help people feel their best, inside and out.
